As a 501c3, Jefferson Park Forward can not engage in political activities. We do not believe that condemning the inappropriate and potentially illegal behavior of an elected official qualifies as political activity. It is just the right thing to do.
At its core, JPF is an advocate. We advocate for our members, our neighbors, and our community as a whole. We cannot remain silent while our neighbors are targeted, demeaned, and conspired against. We stand in solidarity with those, especially the women, who Alderman Jim Gardiner has ridiculed, intimidated, and put in harm’s way with his profane words and wrongful actions.
JPF joins the call for meaningful change and accountability in our ward.
