Mark is an editor and VP at a curriculum developer that specializes in K–12 English language arts, social studies, and technology programs, and he was formerly a journalist and tennis coach. In free time he avidly explores the city’s diverse array of cultural events, corner taverns, and restaurants. He prefers to explore the city by foot, bike, and public transit but has also driven the length of Western Avenue on multiple occasions for fun. He stays active as a player-captain on various Chicago park district and USTA tennis teams.
Mark lives in the Zelosky’s Colonial Gardens section of Jefferson Park in a two-flat with his wife, Adele, while his mom occupies the first floor, and they are happy to continue the great Chicago two-flat family tradition. Mark graduated from the University of Kansas with a double major in journalism and English.
