Kim is a long-standing member of Jefferson Park Forward with a commitment to building toward a better, more inclusive and more engaged community of neighbors and local businesses. She has a proven track record of creative ideas, empathetic communication, execution of events and supporting materials. Kim has a deep understanding of the strengths and challenges particular to Jefferson Park within Chicago’s 45th Ward, as well as the nuances of volunteer organizations.
Kim has lived in Jefferson Park since 2016, and her best experiences here have been through my involvement with JPF. She thrives in team environments working toward a common goal, and has the experience to back it up. She’s spent 20 years as a communications professional, lead communications at various companies and teams who values connecting with people in innovative and thoughtful ways. She also lead marketing on the Windy City Rollers roller derby team where she was also a long-term campaign and traveling athlete. Her career and volunteer work has brought her memorable experiences, incredible relationships, and helped her connect her experience and expertise in communication and branding together with herpassions for teamwork, problem-solving, the arts, experiences, and how we can sift through it all to make our world a little bit better.
