How to Submit for a Board Seat
The nine-member JPF Board of Directors are elected representatives of the JPF membership. JPF holds board elections every September during our annual meeting. Each Director serves a two-year term.
In even numbered years the following Board seats are up for election:
- President
- Treasurer
- Two (2) at-large Board seats
In odd numbered years the following Board seats are up for election:
- Vice-President
- Secretary
- Three (3) at-large Board seats
This year, our president, treasurer, and two board seats will be up for election.
For those interested in running for a Board position, we request that each applicant fill out the form below by Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
Please review the eligibility requirements for running for a Board position. The current Board of Directors has the right to refuse applications to anyone not meeting these requirements, per our Bylaws.
Eligibility Requirements
- Be a Regular Member in good standing (dues paid).
- Previous or current service on a JPF working committee.
- Support the JPF mission and vision.
- Availability to attend Board meetings on the first Thursday of each month and general meetings on the third Thursday of each month.
- Must serve on a JPF working committee, including in a leadership capacity, if needed.
- Be able to moderate the JPF Facebook group/page and other social media channels.
