Jefferson Park Forward was a guest operator at the Six Corners pop-up bookstore, Carpe Librum (“Seize the Book”) on Thursday, August 25. In fulfillment of JPF’s mission to revitalize our community, we believe in supporting charitable works whenever possible. Turning the Page, an educational non-profit with operations in Washington, D.C. and Chicago, operates Carpe Librum, a pop-up bookstore where everything sells for $1-$4 each. All proceeds go to the non-profit, which is currently supporting several west side Chicago Public Schools.
JPF was a guest from 6-8pm and served appetizers and drinks. We estimate that our association brought in 20 customers.
