For this trip we’ll walk the 606. If you haven’t yet been there it’s highly recommended. Now that the vegetation has filled in it’s gorgeous. We’ll walk down Milwaukee to Pulaski. We’ll then walk on Pulaski a bit to Diversey and then cut over to Avers for a nice tour of Hermosa until we hit the west trail head. We’ll then walk the length of the 606 to Ashland. From there we’ll backtrack west down North Avenue until we hit “downtown” Wicker Park (North/Damen/Milwaukee). At that time it’s open ended how much further we want to walk as we’ll have easy access to 56 bus. There will obviously be many different drinking/dining options. Length from Weston’s to Wicker Park central will be around 9 miles.
